An international study, which involved the Nanotechnology Institute of the CNR, found that Quercetina acts as a specific inhibitor for the Covid-19 virus, demonstrating a destabilizing effect on 3clpro, one of the key proteins for replication of the virus.
The study is published in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules. In this context, it is shown that the quercetin molecule functions as a specific inhibitor for SARS-COV-2, influencing specific enzymes and giving it a lethal effect.
The research was carried out by Bruno Rizzati, along with a group of researchers from Zaragoza and Madrid.
These properties are the basis of the beneficial potential of quercere for general health and resistance to diseases, including anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antidiabetic, antioxidant and psycho-stimulating activities, as well as the ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation, platelet aggregation and capillary permeability.
Quercetine and inflammation
In a similar study, conducted on a group of cyclists, it was observed that after three days of intense workouts, supplementation for two weeks with quercetin + omega-3 fatty acids reduced inflammatory biomarkers, as opposed to the group that received only simple quercetin.

Although Quercetina is considered safe and well tolerated by the body, use in doses greater than 1000 mg per day, over a period of more than 10-15 days, can cause:

✔ Nausea
✔ Tingling on the hands and feet
Recommendation: Periodic breaks are recommended from the administration of Quercetine. A recommended daily concentration is 500 mg quercetine.
Careful!
✔ Pregnant women, those who are breastfeeding and people with kidney disease should avoid quercetina.
✔ At high doses (1 g per day), kidney lesions were reported.
A product of note 10! In case of colds, infections and any type of bacteria makes their effect rapidly. In these cases I use 2 in the morning with a glass of water and in the evening. This product is not missing from my house.
