1. What is Mindful Eating and how can it help prevent overload?

Mindful eating or conscious eating is a practice that involves paying full attention to the process of eating, focusing on the sensory experience of food, the sensations of hunger and satiety, and on the emotions that accompany this process. This is an approach opposite to automatic eating or eating on the run, in which attention is often directed to something else, such as TV, phone or other distractions.

2. How can anyone start practicing Mindful Eating if he has never tried again?

For someone who has never tried to practice Mindful Eating, the beginning may seem intimidating, but it is, in fact, a natural and satisfying process. I want to share some simple tips to take the first steps to a more conscious way to eat:
Choose a meal or snack per day to give your time to be completely present. Put the phone aside, turn off the TV and focus only on the food in front of you.
Enjoy each swallow.
Try to eat slower than usual. Pay attention to the taste, texture and smell of food.
Chew slowly and enjoy each swallow. This not only improves digestion, but it also offers you a more satisfying culinary experience.
Take breaks between swallows and breathe deeply.
Mindful Eating helps you to identify the emotional reasons that push you to eat, allowing you to find other ways to manage your emotions, instead of taking refuge in food.

3. How can people plan their meals to include a greater variety of healthy foods?

Planning meals not only helps you include a greater variety of healthy foods, but it also gives you a structure that makes your life easier. Start every week by planning your meals, choosing recipes that include a variety of vegetables, fruits, weak proteins and whole grains.

Be open to try foods you don't usually consume. Try to add something new every week. Choose seasonal foods and make sure each meal is balanced and nourishing and contains proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats to maintain your energy and well-being throughout the day.

4. How does sleep and stress management influence the efficiency of a food and exercise?

When we talk about a healthy lifestyle, we often think of balanced diet and regular physical exercises. However, quality sleep and stress management are equally important elements, which directly influence any food and exercise routine.

Sleep is the Regeneration Foundation, when we do not sleep enough, the levels of gholin (hunger hormone) increase, and leptin (satiety hormone) decrease, which can lead to overload and uncontrolled food. Stress is dependent on a restful sleep.

Stress can push us to eat emotionally, choosing foods high in sugar and fat, which offers short -term comfort, but affects long -term health.

5. What foods do you recommend for a strong antioxidant intake and how can they contribute to general health?

Antioxidants are essential substances for the protection of our body against oxidative stress and cellular damage, thus contributing to the prevention of premature aging and many chronic diseases.

Here are some of the foods I recommend for a powerful antioxidant intake:
Berries: Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries are true "bombs" of antioxidants. These fruits are rich in vitamin C, resveratrol and anthocyanins, which protect the cells against damages caused by free radicals.
Nuts, almonds, chia seeds and flax seeds There are excellent sources of vitamin E and other antioxidants that help protect cells and maintain skin health.
Cruciferous vegetables: broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels cabbage are vegetables rich in sulforafan and vitamin C, two strong antioxidants that can help detoxify the body.
Oranges, lemons, grapefruit and tangerines They are rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that contributes to skin protection, supports the immune system and helps to absorb iron from vegetable foods.
Turmeric contains curcumin, a compound with strong antioxidant and anti -inflammatory properties. The addition of turmeric in foods can help reduce inflammation in the body.

Including these foods rich in antioxidants in your daily diet not only will improve your long -term health, but it will also give you a better energy and a general well -being.

To feed our body with quality nutrients is one of the best steps we can take to enjoy a life full of vitality.
